What we expect from our members

We are a group of adults and we expect adult behavior, treating each other with mutual respect and consideration.

Our group has been established for a wide spectrum of homeschoolers.  People are bound to have differences of opinion.  We ask that you respect everyone's point of view.

We are not here to debate religion, politics, parenting styles, or anything else.

Personal attacks will NOT be tolerated!

SPAM of any kind is not allowed.  If you are selling something or advertising a Community/Group you think would have value to homeschooling mothers and are an established member of our community, please send a copy of the message you would like to submit to the list owner for permission before sending it to the whole list.

The use of member email addresses for any unsolicited commercial purpose is strictly forbidden.

If, at any point, a conflict develops between members, please resolve your differences privately, without dragging everyone on the list into your disagreement! If you are unable to do so, or find it difficult to remain polite and civil on the mailing list, your posting privileges may be suspended by the list moderators.

We would like every member to post at least once a month. Our goal is to maintain an active community, and would prefer to keep the number of lurkers to a minimum. The moderators will post a reminder near the end of every month.  A simple "Hi, I'm still here" will suffice to keep your membership active. 

If you never participate in the conversations, however, we might ask you to leave the group, for the safety and protection of those who are participating. We want to avoid any questionable use of the personally identifiable information that will inevitably be shared amongst members of the list.
